Having been involved with the club since 2003 initially as a player, my interest in how a community club run was spiked.
I got involved with the 1st team and helped with the less glamourous tasks that perhaps were not being done with any routine.
Shortly after I was elected on to the committee as someone looking after fundraising before moving on to Vice Chair and later on found myself in the Chair role.
Having grown up playing grass roots football, getting involved in a club with such potential seemed like a natural progression and the vision is to firmly cement Capel Plough as a key community group within not only grass roots football but also the local community itself.
