Patrick Tynan was signed for Capel Plough FC in the early 90's from Bentley. In youth football, Pat's claim to fame is he played in a prestigious tournament on the sacred Wembley turf.
A no-nonsense centre forward, Pat played for Saturday & Sunday teams regularly enjoying league and cup wins. He became Capel Plough FC 1st team player/manager aged just 28.
Leading The Plough to their 1st ever Senior League Cup Final at Portman Road in 2005, repeated in 2009. The most successful manager in the Capel Plough's history.
Pat managed the team to 2nd place in the Senior league. The clubs highest ever league finish! Pat is currently Vice Chairman & bar manager, among many other jobs. Pat is also the current Veterans Manager. League and County Shield Winners 2024/25.
