Marc joined Capel Plough FC in 2019 and became Head of Girls Development in 2020. A UEFA-qualified coach, he focuses on growing female participation in football. Alongside his role at the Ipswich Town Foundation, Marc developed numerous pathway players, leading to an official partnership between the Foundation and Capel in 2023.
With seven new girls’ teams but no women’s squad despite the chairman’s ambition Marc launched Capel’s first-ever Women’s team in the 2023/24 season. They won the league and earned promotion in their debut year. Marc was then appointed Head of Women’s and Girls Development, overseeing both the first team and newly formed reserves by the 2025/26 season.
He also coaches the Capel Panthers, his daughter’s team of Tier 1 and 2 Ipswich players an all-girls squad competing against boys on Saturdays and girls on Sundays.
