Parent Code of Conduct
  • I will uphold the good name of Capel Plough Football Club and will conduct myself in a manner which will not bring the club, or myself, into disrepute.
  • I understand that Capel Plough Football Club will not tolerate any form of inappropriate language or threatening behaviour from parents, supporters, players, officials or club representatives and I understand that any complaints will be treated seriously and may result in a fine being imposed or suspension / expulsion from the Club.
  • I will ensure my child abides by and understand the Capel Plough FC - Players Code of Conduct, 2021/22 Season.
  • I accept that all playing and training kit provided will always remain the property of Capel Plough Football Club and I understand that if the kit is damaged or lost, then I will need to pay for a replacement.
  • I accept that I am responsible to pay all fines as a result of any disciplinary action taken against my child.
  • I agree to discharge all outstanding subscriptions/fees to Capel Plough Football Club accrued during the previous season before my child’s membership for the current season is allowed.
  • I will ensure that my child attends all training sessions and matches (if selected) unless there is a justified reason.
  • I will inform the team manager at the earliest opportunity if my child cannot play or train.
  • I will ensure that my child will arrive for matches 30 minutes before kick off or at a time agreed with the team manager.
  • I will try and be available to help the manager with any match day duties.
  • To ensure the safety of players and officials, l will not encroach onto the field of play.
  • I will let the coach/manager do their job and not try to confuse the players by telling them what to do.
  • I will only stand in designated areas, usually behind a respect barrier along one side of the pitch. I will not stand outside of these areas, especially behind the goals or goal line.
  • I will set a positive example by applauding good play from both teams.
  • I will not criticise a player for making a mistake – mistakes are part of learning.
  • I will never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting or abusive language or behaviour.
  • I will adhere to the clubs Social Media policy at all times and ensure my child is aware of our expected standards in this respect.
  • I will respect the managers decision at all times, even if I do not agree with them.
  • I will respect the referee’s decisions at all times and will not publicly question the referees honesty or integrity.
  • I will adhere to the FA Photography Guidelines document.

Remember your child will soon forget a mistake made by a referee during a match, but they will always remember your bad behaviour.
